Privacy Policy — AI Meeting Assistant
1. Scope
This application is a single-user, personal-use tool. It is not distributed to or usable by the public. The only Google-account data it accesses belongs to the app owner (Shams Tabrez) with his explicit authorization.
2. What data is accessed
- Google Meet metadata and transcripts via the read-only scope
meetings.space.readonly— conference records and transcript entries from meetings the owner himself attended or hosted. - No other Google services or scopes are accessed. No Gmail, Calendar, Drive, contacts, or media file data is read by this application.
3. Where data is stored
- All fetched transcripts and generated outputs are stored locally on the owner's own computer, encrypted at rest (SQLCipher).
- The application does not upload, share, sell, or transmit user data to any third-party server, advertising network, or AI-training service.
- Google remains the original host of meeting artifacts; the app fetches copies and processing happens locally.
4. How data is used
- Transcripts are processed by the owner's local software to produce summaries, minutes of meeting, decisions, and action-item lists for personal productivity.
- Data is never used for advertising, profiling, model training, resale, or transfer to data brokers.
- Data is retained only until the owner deletes it; deletion cascades to derived outputs and indexes.
5. User rights
Because the app is single-owner by design, all data belongs to and is controlled by the owner. He can inspect, export, or delete all stored data at any time through the local interface.
6. Contact for questions
